Does anyone know when this bird is being considered by BOURC?
A number of announcements regards bird sightings from around the same point in time have already been made, but there is nothing about this bird.
The bird was traced from Poland, where the Polish authorities are used to escapes. They have accepted it as a wild bird.

Hi Nick
The Dalmatian Pelican record very recently reached BOURC and the committee has now started the process of considering it.
Cheers

Thanks Andy, I wonder if any supporting evidence I had from conversations with people abroad about this bird's provenance might add to the case? Its all there on the Birdforum discussion.
In many people's opinion, this bird has the best credentials of any pelican species that have reached our shores.
Regards, Nick
