I know it's not strictly comparable, as everyone's home is somewhere different, but is there any possibility of a dedicated house list category? I guess the commonest criteria usually being seen in or from the house or garden.

Cheers,

Jon

I think this is a good idea as well - I'd love to be able to compare my garden list with others, as I can do with my full year list.

We do of course support adding garden lists already since you can define your garden as a particular site, although the point I'm sure you're making is that it is not possible to easily compare different garden lists. This is something we have noted for a future change, so that it would then be possible to compare say all garden lists within England.

Can't promise it will come soon, because we have other changes due first. In the meantime let's get some more garden lists on BUBO Listing so it will be particularly interesting to do this comparison!

You're right, Mike, the point I was trying to make was that it would be great to compare house & garden lists across the UK in the same way that we can compare other non-regional specific lists like BOU Self-found.

I appreciate it may well be some way down your current list of BUBO upgrade priorities, but I have a feeling it would be a pretty popular category.

For now, I've designated a site as my house & garden list, but I'd love to know how it compares - the problem is it's not readily obvious who else has done the same and uploaded a list for this purpose...

Cheers,

Jon
