Hi all,
At the last meeting of the Portuguese Rarities Committee, it was decided to change the taxonomy of the Portuguese list of AERC to IOC. In addition, a series of decisions were made that impacts on the list of continental Portugal.
I am preparing a new list following IOC and updating it with the new additions and removals, as well as doing a uniform treatment of the species in category D, at this moment, two of them are countable and the others are not, which makes no sense.
I was hoping to have already done so but the holydays…
Andy, Mike, is too much trouble to change the list to IOC, if I sent the current list in a excel format?

Hi Pedro - we've actually been introducing quite a lot of new IOC-based lists recently, so this fits very well. What we'd want to do is add a Portugal IOC list alongside the existing one, then invite people to copy their old lists to the new one. This should mean that most people don't have too many changes to make. So yes, send us the new list when you have it and we'll make sure it gets added to BUBO Listing
Cheers
Andy
