Birder since I was a teenybopper. Finding lekking Black Grouse just a bike ride away really sparked my fire. Sandbach Flashes brought migrant waders into the spectrum, there began twitching in the early seventies (wotsa pager?). Missed a few megas in my time due to work or 'er indoors but not done too bad. Now, like the Arctic Tern, I've gone global, at least as far as the pound stretches.
