normal SACC list for South America

8 years 11 months ago - 8 years 11 months ago #419 by Mike Prince
The comprehensive SACC (South American Classification Committee) list is now available on BUBO Listing for all South American lists. This is the most authoritative list for the region, and provides a wealth of information via the SACC checklist website regarding taxonomic status of all species included. If only all authorities provided as much useful detail!

We also intend to produce SACC based lists for individual South American countries soon.

All South American countries and territories are now available on BUBO Listing, as per the SACC country checklists . Specifically this means Argentina, Aruba, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, CuraƧao, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela, Bonaire and Falkland Islands.

Note that Brazil is also represented by the CBRO national list , and this and the SACC Brazil list may vary slightly owing to different criteria for inclusion.
