Addition to the WVBRC List

Addition to the WVBRC List was created by David Daniels
Is it possible to add a species to the West Virginia Bird Records Committee (WVBRC) list? This morning I found and documented a Tufted Duck, which would represent the first record of this species for West Virginia. Obviously it is not on the state list, but do you have to wait for it to be added to the official state list before you can include it in a Bubo West Virginia list?
Thank you,

Hi David
I've just added Tufted Duck. We add species in advance of official acceptance if they are likely to be accepted: we can always remove them later!

Great. Thank you so much for your help Mike. By the way, I am Vice Chair of the WVBRC, so I will let you know if the record is rejected. Our next round of voting won’t be until July.
