Birding since I could look out of a pram (I think!). Mostly local with holidays. Unlikely to twitch unless really local (although did go to Cley for the sparrow!). Often seen with 'scope-toting family (Sandra, Hazel and Jono). Get as much excitement out of a dodgy black swan in Oulton Broad as seeing the American Bittern down the road. Love Kenya, Tanzania and Scotland. Highlights to have found a Palla's Warbler in local park and got name in print in county report, and to have been walking along the North wall at Minsmere as Suffolk's King Eider was spotted (without my scope doh! - thank you whoever let me have a look through theirs!), and on Minsmere beach as news broke of 'Swampy'.
