The list of Spanish birds used by BUBO Listing is the Sociedad Española de Ornitología Lista de las Aves de España, updated in 2022. The list contains species recorded in mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, and the Spanish colonies of Ceuta and Melilla in North Africa.
Note that species listed only for categories D and E of the Spanish list are not included in BUBO Listing.
Although English and scientific names are currently shown as standard within BUBO Listing, the Spanish names of each species are also included and can be viewed below, as well as during data entry by hovering over the English name.
