Hazel Grouse in Oslo, Mar 2024, c.120 new in southern Kenya, Jan/Feb 2024. Previously, birding in the Western Palearctic (Britain plus many overseas trips: see Western Palearctic list comments for details), USA/Canada (6 trips), India (2 trips), Argentina (2 trips) and 1 trip each to Thailand/Cambodia, The Gambia, South Africa/Lesotho/Swaziland, Mexico (the Yucatan peninsula), Costa Rica, Australia, New Zealand and the Falklands/South Georgia/Antarctica. Includes 12 species seen only as established introductions, 7 only as conservation translocations (in New Zealand), 1 only as a re-established species (in Britain) and 47 species seen only as vagrants outside their usual range, but no heard-only species.
