I have been birding since 1976. I lived in California until 1998 when I moved to Nevada hence my interest in California and Nevada county listing. I also keep lists of each state I have visited as well as a World, ABA and ABA Continental list. After retiring from my day job in 2007 I went to work for Great Basin Bird Observatory (GBBO) from 2008 to 2013. I was also a member of the Nevada Bird Records Committee from 2003 to 2013.

My wife and I are avid photographer of raptors. Studying migration patterns and eco-system of raptors in Europe and United States (when visiting the Western World).
East Sussex

Getting a bit long in the tooth and my trip to Brazil in 2006 might be my last adventure of that nature. [I said 'might'] So my activity is almost exclusively limited to East Sussex - which is not a bad area to concentrate on. I am a licensed ringer but I have scaled down my actiivity in this field too.

Sadly I have been a real Twitcher for about 25 years now with only the odd mega tempting me before that.
As my list has grown and the annual twithces get less, I have found more time to get more involved with my local reserve. The Idle Valley NR. and also doing survey work for the National Trust..
I've been birding for 50 years both in England and Canada. I started my birding at Rye House, Herts

Dibyendu is an avid traveller and has been roaming across India’s tiger reserves, national parks and other protected areas, and honing his skills as a spotter, naturalist and photographer.
Dibyendu Ash started reading his mother’s zoology books as a teenager when he and that is where his interest for nature was inculcated. He continued building upon his knowledge of zoology and interest in animal skull craft, although he pursued mathematics and joined the IT sector. He met Tamanud in Cognizant Technology Solutions, and later Soumyajit, and in their company was drawn towards nature and wildlife photography.
Some of his work has been published in some domestic and International journals, books, newspapers, postcards etc.
I am an amateur photographer and an amateur Birder.
I've been a keen birder since 1992, when I was 15. I started out in the UK, and throughout the late 1990s/early 2000s visited a number of Western Palearctic countries including France, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Turkey and Syria. Since 2006 I've been mainly resident in Oriental Asia, specifically Taiwan and South Korea but making many birding trips to other countries in the region. My favorite country for birding is Thailand.

I live in the Appalachian Mountain area of the U.S. and have been a birder for about 20 years. Although I have not made special trips just to see more birds for my lists, I do make it a point to take my binoculars with me most every time that I travel.
