I've been a keen birder since 1992, when I was 15. I started out in the UK, and throughout the late 1990s/early 2000s visited a number of Western Palearctic countries including France, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Turkey and Syria. Since 2006 I've been mainly resident in Oriental Asia, specifically Taiwan and South Korea but making many birding trips to other countries in the region. My favorite country for birding is Thailand.
