Birding journals were kept from the late sixties to the early seventies. Regrettably, all of these were thrown in the trash when I lost interest in the sport in the mid-seventies. A copy of Clements "Birds of the World: A Checklist" was presented as a Birthday gift in March of 1984 when record keeping began once more.
