I'm a 20 year old birder from southern WI, USA and have been birding since I was 6. Birding has taken me to all the lower 48 states, 1 pelagic trip out of Monterrey, CA, 4 months as a guide in Southern AZ, multiple trips to FL and CO, and one trip each to Costa Rica, Ecuador and Peru.
I hope birding will take me to the rest of the countries in the world in my attempt to see as many of the world's 10,000 birds as possible.
I keep a year list because I think it's fun to see how many species one can see in 365 days. I keep other lists just to keep a record of what I've seen where. My life list is really the only important one since it keeps a record of everything I've ever seen. Over 1500 species and counting. :D
