The South American Classification Committee is an official committee of the American Ornithologists' Society whose mission is to create a standard classification, with English names, for the bird species of South America. BUBO Listing uses the SACC list for South American lists and all individual South American countries. Specifically this means Argentina, Aruba, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Curaçao, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela, Bonaire and the Falkland Islands.
