Death of Jon Hornbuckle

I thought I would share the sad news of Jon's sudden death last week originally posted on the Sheffield Bird Study Group website; a group of which he was a founder member. Following early retirement he travelled extensively not only amassing a huge world list but contributing to bird conservation in many countries, details of which can be found on his website: jonathanhornbuckle.webs.com/aboutme.htm

It's such a shame that his website is no longer active. As a relative newcomer to birding, I would like to have read his reports.
