Hello fellow Listers,
at the moment I use my Samsung outdoor phone to playback calls where I want to identify bird calls I am hearing and/or want to attract a shy bird to show better. I want to get a decent quality recorder & playback player for field use - but of manageable size - max I am happy to carry additional is a recorder about the size of my hand, plus perhaps an external speaker.
I am in London, England and would like to find a shop where I can go and try such equipment - but everything I find is available on-line only, any suggestions on suitable equipment or a store that stock this kind of thing would be appreciated.
