Subalpine Warbler "splits" and the British list. was created by Jeremy Hurley
The BOU have now officially recognised Moltoni's Subalpine Warbler as a distinct species (BOU Records Committee 44th Report), having been "split" from western and eastern forms of the nominate Subalpine Warbler. As a result, Moltoni's Subalpine Warbler has been added to the British list on the basis of three previously accepted records. In keeping, it would be nice to see a revision and update of the BOU list on this site also.

Much appreciated Andy. Eagerly anticipate a future "twitchable" occurrence of this newly declared species for Britain.
