Hi.
I appreciate that individuals are free to define their lists as they wish, but I'm interested if the general consensus is whether or not to include the northern portion of Merseyside within Lancashire for the purposes of listing? To do so appears to match the recording area and the annual bird report, but most birders appear to work on the basis of ceremonial counties, in which case Merseyside would not be included in Lancashire (if I understand correctly).
What do other Lancashire birders tend to do?
Thanks,
Simon
