I notice that Richard's Pipit (Anthus Richardi) does not feature in the OBC version of the Nepal list. I am fairly sure that the Hampshire Ornithological Society field trip recorded one or two in 1997. Would they have more likely been sightings of Upland Pipit (Anthus sylvana)?

Dave.

The OBC lists are quite out of date. I have now added Richard's for Nepal.

Your birds would not have been Upland though, which is actually quite different looking and very specific in its habitat preference. They could of course have been Paddyfield, which is very similar.
