Historical dates

We, at Ornithological Society of Valkeakoski Region (Finland), are keeping records of all species observed in our area:
bubo.org/view-list.html?list_id=24783

The problem is that Bubo does no accept historical dates, like our very first Greater White-fronted Goose
which was observed on 4th of December 1887.

Could you please make a change so that historical records could be saved as well?

Hi Olli

We deliberately restrict date entry to within a reasonable timespan to avoid accidental entry of wrong dates. However I have now removed this so you can enter records going back to 1800.
