Hi all - I have just finished implementing the
v3.1 and v3.2 updates for the IOC world list
. If you have a list based on the IOC world checklist you may be prompted to
deal with any taxonomic changes
that apply to you.
The main changes are:
Addition of Bryan's Shearwater, Sira Barbet;
Deletion of Vietmanese Pheasant;
Splits of Cory's Shearwater, Grey Hawk, Xantus's Murrelet, Philippine Hawk-Owl, Greater Antillean Nightjar, Common Flameback, Cinnamon Quail-thrush, Chestnut-breasted Quail-thrush, Chestnut Wattle-eye, Blue Fantail, Blue-headed Fantail, Pied Fantail, Philippine Tailorbird, Asian Brown Flycatcher and Capped Seedeater;
Lumps of Mitred/Hocking's/Chapman's Parakeet, Groove-billed/Yellow-billed Toucanet and Audubon's/Black-fronted Warbler.
Nice to be up to date for once! Next to update the Clements world checklist...
