Iceland list updates

Thanks to Yann Kolbeinsson and Birding Iceland for the following updates that we have just applied to the BUBO Listing Iceland list .

2005: European Goldfinch was accepted onto the list.
2006: Thayer's Gull and Little Tern have been accepted onto the list.
2007: Still under consideration is the first record of Temminck's Stint.
2008: Eastern Olivaceous Warbler was recorded for the first time (not yet reviewed).
2009: Two-barred Crossbill was recorded for the first time (already added to BUBO Listing).

From the 2007 rarity report onwards both Cackling Goose (B. hutchinsii) and White-winged Scoter (M. deglandi) will be split from B. canadensis and M. fusca. American Herring Gull has been recorded multiple times since 2003 but records have not yet been reviewed by the rarities committee.

Updates to the Iceland bird list - Wilson's Snipe displaying in June 2010 and Sora reported in April 2011 - both now available as pending additions in BUBO Listing.
