Nearing 70. Birding on/off since very young. Moved from Scottish Highlands to Staffordshire in January 2017. Limited UK list (c 440). Main birding focus is now local (Doxey Marshes) and WP listing, family holidays plus birding trips, now largely in abeyance. A few more holidays further afield make enough for US & Africa lists.

Birder since about 1966. Rarely twitch but love doing it, and still quite a few things left to see in Britain. Now involved with Central Branch of SOC. Worked at Caerlaverock, Slimbridge - found many early birders' their first Lesser Whitefront - Montrose Basin and then Eco consultancy before retirement. Fulmar seen over my house in Bushey while revising for A levels remains one of my most exciting finds - 2nd for London area!

Mostly local birding, try to maintain a year list - time permitting. As long as UK life list is gradually increasing am more than happy
